Exploring the Diversity of Black Muslims in London Exhibition

Muslims in Britain are diverse, hailing from the UK itself and all over the world. Their voices and histories are repeatedly subverted and lost within the wider, albeit limited, narrative of British Muslim histories.

As part of a Lottery funded London wide exhibition detailing the stories, experiences of migration, education, faith, discrimination and the building of a community of the African and Afro-Caribbean Muslim community in London. I created a vivid typographic design deriving from a powerful statement from one of the interviews statements. This was then implemented as a basis for a brand style for the title of the exhibition across literature and large format banners and graphics.
